As I pen this weeks pastor’s desk, I feel that same affection as the apostle Paul expressed in his letter to the Christians in Rome - “First, I thank God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of…without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers…that I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.” 

(cf. Romans 1: 8-12)

We are on in this together!  Our mutual faith in Jesus Christ is our firm foundation!  We have an “unshakable” faith because we have His word as our anchor!

We are in that “evening time” of the gospel day, so let us not grow weary!  Let us continue in sound doctrine.  Let us continue in fellowship and prayer for one  another.  Let’s continue to plant and water, expecting God for the increase!   May we exhibit those characteristics of the early church as penned in Acts 2: 42-47, not to grow our church, but His Church!
