God’s Love is so amazing!  He loves even me!  The word “love” appears anywhere from 310 times to 551 times in the bible, depending on what translation you use.  Although the word “love” is not penned in every book of the bible, God’s love is certainly expressed in all 66 books that make up the bible - from Genesis to Revelation.   God relentlessly pursues a relationship with you.  God never gives up on you - He loves you too much!  We see that all through the bible.  We read accounts of mankind’s failure and God’s faithful, persistent love.  God’s love even shows up in the book of Judges, where the common theme was “everyone did what was right in his own eyes.” (cf. Judges 21:25)  God could have given up on us a long time ago.  His grace and mercy could have ended a long time ago, but He continues to call you to Himself.  Don’t give up!  Don’t give up on God.  Don’t give up on yourself and don’t give up on others - because God never does.  God’s love extends today, tomorrow and beyond, until you draw your last breath.  Lamentations reminds you and me, “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.  They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.  The Lord is my portion, says my soul, therefore I hope in Him!” (3: 22-24)   Just as God raised up deliverers in the book of Judges, God has raised up Jesus - our supreme deliverer!  He loves you!  He will deliver you because He loves you with an everlasting love!
