“Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He ROSE AGAIN the third day according to the Scriptures.” - The Word of God (cf. 1 Corinthians 15: 3-4)
What does the resurrection of Christ mean to you personally? How has it impacted your life? Do you think and live differently in light of this fact?
Are you teaching your children the real meaning of Easter? The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the reality and hope of our faith! Without the resurrection we are dead in our sins! The bible says, “if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins!…if in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable.”(cf. 1 Corinthians 15: 17-19)
The bible reminds you and me in 1 John 5: 11-13, “…God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.” Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
(cf. John 11:25-26) When you believe, and “know Him” and experience “the power of His resurrection” - it changes everything - for life, death and eternity! He lives - He lives indeed!
