I don’t care who you are, you either do, or will have obstacles or situations in your life that seem to keep you from going forward. Situations where there seemingly is absolutely no way through or around. The difference in being victorious in those situations is in your attitude - and I’m not speaking of PMA (positive mental attitude). I’m speaking of an attitude that has an unshakable faith in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and His promises to His people - past, present and future! Joshua and Caleb exhibited this unshakable faith when the majority said, “We are not able..”, they responded, “…the LORD is with us. Do not fear…” (cf. Numbers 13, 14)
The majority was right, they were not able, but God was and is still more than able - but He requires us to exercise our faith in Him. He asks us not to focus on how big those obstacles are that are in our pathway that holds us from moving forward, but to look to Him and move forward in faith. Yes, “In all these things we are more than conquerors, through Him who loved us.” (Romans 8: 37) Yes, “I can do all things through Christ who strengths me.” (Philippians 4: 13) And, “when you’re up against a struggle that shatters all your dreams and hopes have been cruelly crushed by Satan’s manifested schemes and you feel the urge within you to submit to earthly fears don’t let the faith you’re standing in , seem to disappear…now satan is a liar and he wants to make us think, that we are paupers when he knows himself we’re children of the King.” (lyrics, Praise the Lord)
“For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named…Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen (cf. Eph.3:14-21)
