Jesus said, “…I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” (cf. Matthew 16: 18) Rise up, O church of God - its time to storm the gates of hell and fight (spiritually speaking). Its time to awaken church - time is short. The apostle Paul reminds us that “we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against power, against the rulers of darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (cf. Ephesians 6: 12)
Our spiritual weapons are prayer and the Word of God! The times are desperate and we (when I say “we”, that includes “me”) need to get serious about our walk with Christ and be praying for the lost and stand upon God’s word - “Do not be afraid…remember the Lord, great and awesome, and fight for your brethren, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses!”(cf. Nehemiah 4:14) The apostle Paul said it this way, “…knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep…” (cf. Romans 13: 11)
“Rise up, O church of God! Have done with lesser things; Give heart and soul and mind and strength to serve the King of kings.”
