My heart and prayers goes out to the families of those children whose lives ended tragically, in yet another school shooting in Texas.  There is so much evil and turmoil going on in our world today, it makes me wonder if we are truly living in the last days Jesus spoke of in the gospels?!   There is so much I don’t know and understand, and so much out of my control.  But one thing I know, in light of “The End?”, whether ending tragically at the hands of another or until my body finally wears out to old age/illness or I am one of those that are alive and remain when Jesus comes back - I am to live in light of knowing this life, as I know it, will end.  We are not to live in fear of how or when this life will end, but we should be watchful and prayerful.   Meaning, we should live not only in a state of “readiness”, but to understand our “present responsibilities!”  The bible says that we are to continue to “love one another” and minister to one another “as with the ability which God supplies.” (cf. 1 Peter 4: 7-11)   None of us can do everything, but we can, and are called - to do something.  Yes, “the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.”

May God and our Lord Jesus Christ be glorified “to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever.  Amen.”
