Jesus said to “love one another.” He even commanded us to “love our enemies!”
Yes there are injustices in our world, and those who break the law of the land should be judged by those laws that are intended to protect us. And yes we should help and defend those that can’t help and defend themselves, it is not only the right thing to do but more importantly biblical.
I personally believe what is going on in our country and world today is the signs of the times, that is the return of Christ - “the blessed hope!”
One has to wonder how much worse does it have to get before Jesus comes back?! We are not the only generation that has had those thoughts - each generation has had its moments.
Jesus has called past, present and future believers to be the “salt” and “light” in our present world - not our light, but Christ in us. Mankind cannot legislate morality, it only comes via true repentance and a regenerated heart. The cure for what is going on is a heart change that only comes by Jesus Christ. As disappointed and upset as I am for what is going on I realize I must do by part to love others. I must look into the mirror before I look out the window! “Lord help me to love others as I should.” It starts with me. How about you?
