“Thank You!”  to our Veterans - past, present and future.  We pause to remember and honor our men and women who have served and are serving to keep America safe and free.  We enjoy our freedom of religion today because so many have given the ultimate sacrifice - their lives.  We should all honor and respect our Veterans.  Our military have sworn to protect us from foreign and domestic enemies, but who/what can protect us from ourselves?!  We have heard of yet another tragic shooting!   Please join me in remembering and praying for these families.  But what is the answer to the madness that is going on?!   More legislation, more law enforcement, more…etc…?   We are living in uncertain times, and we need biblical wisdom in lieu of worldly wisdom.  We need the unshakeable truth of God’s word!  God’s word is the answer for the condition of the human heart.  I’m so proud of Alabama voters for approving the constitutional amendment to display the 10 commandments in schools and government buildings.  Jesus said that He came to fulfill the law, not to do away with it.  Jesus said that all of the law is contained within these two - “love God and love your neighbor” (cf. Matthew 22: 34-40).  This takes a heart change, the kind that only Jesus can bring!   Jesus said, “whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock, and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house: and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.” (Matthew 7: 24-27)

Jesus is that Rock!
