“Then God said, ‘Let there be light.’… Then God said, ‘Let there be lights in the firmament.’ …Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night.’   He made the stars also.  God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth.”  (cf. Genesis 1)

“…God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.”  (cf. 1 John 1:5)

“…in Him was life, and the life was the light of men…the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.” (cf. John 1)

“…called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” (cf. 1 Peter 2: 9)

“You are the light of the world…let your light so shine…” (cf. Matthew 5:14)

“For it is God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” (2 Corinthians 2:6)

Do you see the common denominator? - Yes, light!  Who doesn’t like light?!  The God of all creation who turned on the light in our physical world also desires to turn on the spiritual light in you, me and all of mankind!   Jesus declared, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the Light of life.” (John 8:12)

When you have the Light of life living in you, even though you might be “hard-pressed on every side”, even though you might be “perplexed”, even though you might be “persecuted”, even though you might be  “struck down” the life of Jesus can be manifested in, and through you!  You have the power of God within you to live a Victorious Life!   If your feeling broken, God desires to shine His light through you, and move you to Wholeness!

“We have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.” (cf. 2 Corinthians 4: 6-18)

Are you experiencing His power?  Its there, just turn it on!
