People can be fickle, even God’s people. Fickle defined as, “changing frequently, especially as regards one’s loyalties, interests, or affection.”
One minute we are on fire for the Lord and His church, the next minute, not so much. Maybe we get our feelings hurt, or have a disagreement on a certain matter, etc…. and so...

Hello, my name is “Fear!” Fear defined, “an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat.” I wish I could tell you that I’m “fearless!” - but, I’m not.
I use to fear flying - fearful of the thought of being so out of control, not to mention 33,000 feet above the earth and traveling at 500 miles an hour! I will say that the fear of flying taught me to be totally dependent upon God.
I no longer fear flying - I actually enjoy it now, but I still realize my total dependence upon God. The bible says...

Brother Ben Helton is preaching on “procrastination” this Sunday. I was actually planning on preaching on procrastination some day (ha, ha).
Procrastination by definition is “The action of delaying or postponing something.” Put another way, procrastination is defined as...

“When Paul met the Lord on Damascus Road
He never was the same again
When Peter met the Lord He left his boat
And started fishing for men
Well, I may not be Peter or Paul,
But one thing I can truly say
When I met the Lord and made Him my choice
He definitely made a change…”
(He made a change lyrics)
By the “grace and mercy of God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord” we can start over, we can experience “New Beginnings!” God is...

In my lifetime, I can think of no other Evangelist that preached the good news of Jesus Christ with such simplicity and power - then that of Billy Graham. And now, by the grace and mercy of God, he is reaping his reward. Jesus Himself spoke of the simplicity of salvation when He said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you...

The bible reminds us, “if in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable.” (1 Cor. 15:19) Jesus came to bring life, abundant life - eternal life. The devil seeks to “steal, and to kill, and to destroy.” (cf. John 10:10) The bible says, “God did not appoint us to...

“What the world needs now is love, sweet love
It's the only thing that there's just too little of
What the world needs now is love, sweet love,
No not just for some but for everyone.”
The word “love” appears anywhere from 310 times to 551 times in the bible, depending on what translation you use. Although the word “love” is not penned in every book of the bible,...

It has been said that, “If it wasn’t for people and things, life would be easy.” Well, no doubt people (including myself) can be challenging sometimes, and things can get in the way. But life is really all about people and relationships. “God intended for us to love people and use things, not love things and use people.” People are eternal, not things. People were always the focus and the passion of Christ. Jesus loved people unconditionally. His greatest desire is...

I don’t care who you are, you either do, or will have obstacles or situations in your life that seem to keep you from going forward. Situations where there seemingly is absolutely no way through or around. The difference in being victorious in those situations is in your attitude - and I’m not speaking of PMA (positive mental attitude). I’m speaking of an attitude that has an...

The Bible says, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.” (Proverbs 14:12) No one in their right mind would deliberately choose death. But God says that is exactly what you do when you reject Jesus Christ and His Word. God’s way leads to life and everlasting life. Man’s way leads...
